Instructional Design
The papers in this section discuss instructional design as a field of study. It also includes reference to my books describing some instructional design theories.
Component Display Theory
The papers in this section describe a prescriptive theory of instructional design. It also includes reference to TICCIT, a book describing a computer based authoring system that implemented Component Display Theory.
Instructional Transaction Theory
The papers in this section describe the development of a second generation of instructional design theory to enable tools that automate the instructional design process. This section describes some of the tools we developed for this purpose.
